An avocado is vegetable and not fruit?

Is avocado vegetable or fruit? Botanically, an avocado is a fruit because it is a 'single-seeded berry' that comes from a plant. But the avocado is a fruit vegetable and is classified with vegetables because it is usually eaten as a vegetable. And because an avocado has huge nutritional value.

Moreover, all the fruits we know are usually sweet and/or sour. The avocado is neither, and in terms of with its health benefits, it fits in with vegetables rather than fruits.
