Recipe TIP: Avocado smoothie!

The internet is now full of avocado recipes. You can find something for all meals of the day and snacks.


We would like to share with you this super simple avocado smoothie recipe that also allows you endless variation and experimentation by using and adding different fruits and vegetables.


And the smoothie itself can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, snack or dessert. Súper anyway those avocado variations :).


Avocasmoothie!


With these ingredients, you will have enough for one smoothie. If you want to make more servings, simply multiply the ingredients based on the number of people.


Ingredients:
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 banana (frozen for a thicker consistency, if desired)
  • 1 cup of milk (you can use dairy-free milk such as almond or coconut milk)
  • 1/2 Greek yoghurt (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (to taste)
  • A handful of ice cubes (optional)


Preparation:
  • Peel the avocado and remove the stone.
  • Chop the avocado and banana.
  • Add the avocado, banana, milk, Greek yoghurt (if using) and honey to a blender.
  • Blend everything on high speed until a smooth consistency is achieved.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more honey.
  • If you want a thicker smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again until the mixture is well blended and creamy.
  • Pour the avocado smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
